The holidays are almost over, hope you all have had a good break. Ive got an Exhibition coming up mid year in Alexandra, more details closer to the time and have been working on some new exciting colourful designs that will brighten up your room for sure!.

25 years ago I started out painting realistic types of artworks but as I progressed as a painter I found the normal realistic colours of a painting didn’t inspire me enough and felt bored by it, but colour is exciting and I have way more inspiration with it, that is also why I like using a palette knife, although I do enjoy using the brush too, but I usually start a painting with the palettes knife, it frees me up, Im on my own path and will keep exploring with colour and technique. Something else I am learning over time is to relax and have fun with it, not to be a perfectionist over it, being relaxed is an important part of painting, otherwise there is no point in doing it if you can’t enjoy it!

This month I have already started several paintings for the exhibition coming up and also have a few galleries around here I can put work into to, so will keep you updated on that in my blog and newsletters.
