Suitable for all, from complete novices who are curious and have never lifted a paintbrush to the well-experienced and advanced artist. If you are travelling with a friend who does not wish to take part in the painting lessons, don’t worry – there are plenty of non-painting activities to do such as, sight-seeing, walking, photography, cycling or just relaxing in the amazing landscape, we are Central to Alexandra, Wanaka, Cromwell & Queenstown. There are 2 hours of Pleinair Painting available , each day at Clyde. Come experience the beautiful landscape and famous central Otago scenery, a fun relaxing day, Suitible for any levels. All painting materials provided, and an optional Wine tasting & platter afterwards.

Pleinair Painting Adventures – Historic Clyde Village – Otago

Description

Come Pleinair Painting with me in the beautiful outdoors of Historic Clyde Village and surrounds from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, bookings available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday afternoons from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Feel free to contact me for one on one session’s.

 

Only 6 spaces available for each day, costs from $90 per person, discounted  for a limited time, optional additional cost of wine and nibbles afterwards at my Gallery in Clyde, $20pp

Location

Historic village Clyde, River scene, or Dunstan Lake , lots of lovely coffee and lunch places in Clyde and the optional wine tasting with me later in the gallery.

If weather isn’t suitable, we can paint in my gallery.

You will learn to paint a scene from start to finish with oils using Palette knife and brush techniques which I have been using over the last 25 years.

In outdoor painting one needs to make bolder decisions  and make them quicker, the moment moves fast

Fearless painting is more enjoyable!

What you need to bring

A sunhat, water, camera, small sketchbook, pen or pencil, wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on. I will have an alternative location at my gallery  if the weather is too bad or can rebook an alternative day, generally the weather is very good through summer and Autumn.
